Due to the passing of a notable chieftain, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been forced into mourning. The former national chairman of the PDP, Vincent Ogbulafor, is said to have passed away in Canada at the age of 73. According to a family member who wished to remain anonymous, Ogbulafor passed away due to an unnamed ailment. A family source has confirmed his passing, and they also told Thisday Newspaper that he passed away on Thursday, October 6, in Canada, at the age of 73, from an unidentified illness. Ogbulafor hails from Olokoro in the Abia state’s Umuahia South local government. Prior to his election as National Chairman following a heated national conflict between Senators Sam Egwu and Anyim Pius Anyim, Ogbulafor served as the PDP’s first national secretary.
