The major people that require this amnesty are yahoo boys and ipob members. Efcc can’t point out the direct person that the yahoo boys scammed as most of their victims are not in Nigeria or Nigerians, then after seizing their assets u didn’t go the extra mile of knowing who they scammed so at least u can refund the victims their moneys so u would seem sincere like u care about them, u instead seized their assets and converted some to yours and the rest was given to the federal government. By doing that what problem did u exactly solve? Every year hundreds of yahoo boys are arrested back to back u seize their assets and nothing changes. As for ipob members a lot of us know low-key 90% of them are innocent people who are just being deceived out of ignorance, I am certain that if they release them they won’t want to go back in there, they would even advise the ones outside that if they hear Bia not to talk of fra they should avoid it. |

Islie: President Biden did the same thing few days ago for federal offender (marijuana) He said people that are held in federal prison just because of possession of marijuana will be freed since marijuana is legal in some states. No one should be in jail cos of marijuana. There right will be fully restored like health care ,bank loan and the rest . |

What happened to the budgets assigned to the proposed inmates to be release? 2. The templates used in the Correctional Services - is it enough impacts on the inmates? 3. Well, this is yardsticks to release their own boys in the Correctional Services across the Nation. 4. They should have allowed the judges to used their own discretion in making more revenue to the ministry of justice - with option of fine. |

Some of the awaiting trial inmates have stayed longer than the punishment provided by law for the crime they were arrested for. If you look at a man that is caught for petty theft and you are trying him for three years, even if you convict him for that crime, how long will he stay? How long will that fellow stay, probably six months, but without trial, he will be there for three years. 2 Likes 3 Shares |

This government is too predictable. As part of the agreement with the bandits who freed their train hostages ba? Or it is time to free some Iswap members and some Boko harram. Apc is the greatest mistake Nigeria has ever made. Bihari will go down as the most useless prexy ever. Obidatti will soon rescue us. |

Good move. Find out their offence and how long they’ve been in custody. If it’s close to or more than the stipulated punishment, they should be asked to go home and rehabilitated. |

Nigeria's prison population is comparatively low. It really speaks to the quality of human beings in Nigeria. Contrary to what most Nigerians think, Nigerians are comparatively GOOD people. |
