Nothing changed!
If you go to my posts here when he was governor, you will see similar criticisms of Obi. Every politician is criticized. But that's not enough reason to equate the criticisms directed at executive robbers like Atiku and Tinupoo with criticiss directed at Obi. These are two different scenarios.

What we have noticed is that we raise the bar way too high for characters like Obi.
Most of the criticisms were centered around a call for a more revolutionary approach to infastructural developments. Obviously there is a far a governor can go..

He was just a governor not the president. He was working with limited funds. As a president he's going to bring in most qualities that hallmarked his terms as a governor. So expect more tightening of the budgetary expenses. More prudent management of resources and more humane approach to governance. Most importantly, expect a total war against corruption!

These are not common qualities in Abuja today.
Stop playing with words that you dont even understand are sinking you further.
Truth is Obi is a failure.Nothing has changed.
No human building,no infrastructure building,no igr building....
Pls,why would a sane person want to vote for a failure if growth is what he desires?
Sentiments and some bad belle Anambrians comments apart(which are mainly negative about Obi).
Look at this grave, dismal performance when Obi is juxtaposed with Ngige and Obiano.
What a calamity!

Nigerians are mostly into tribal politics else peter obi would'nt have gotten any loyalist from anambra. He ruined anambra during his tenure

Agbadorian, how are you today?

Your Cassavani can't successfully be a town union president Anambra for 2 years.

Anambra is a class of it's own. The people will put you on your toes 247. That is the nature of the state.

We can see the worth of the investment..but not the amount invested to see whether or not the investment is at a gain or loss. These were later confirmed to be at a huge loss. This is nothing, my friend udele

Truely this Peter obi perform woefully as a governor then in Anambra.l think what has changed to answer the question the op asked is that he's projected now as tribal heroe and Messiah at the national politics.

You just exhibited your ignorance with this post.
Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) is a function of a state/countrys tax policy. That a state gathers less taxes doesn't mean that the governor is a daft! It's not necessarily a yardstick to measure the successful tenure of any given Cheif executive. Some people who are beholden to all sorts of dictatorial cultural behaviors might like to be contributing huge taxes to their Lord and personal savior to use in buying private jets! Good for them...

Other Chief executives might decide to tax less in other to allow more funds in the hands of the entrepreneurs to flourish and invest more. In Onitsha for instance, we might have the highest concentration of 5 story buildings in the country. Those were built by individuals! All of them! This can only happen when the business men there have more of their monies with them!
When you tax less, you increase the confidence of the investor to open more businesses, employ more people and create even more opportunities for more government earnings.
That's what is happening in Anambra today.

lol..you are a dunce, owobokiri

How can this be coming from you? Internally generated revenue can be multiplied by simply bringing in more people into the tax net without hitting them with multiple or heavy taxes. You are not intelligent at all. This can also be done by exploring areas which were not explored in the past. How do you expect a state to survive without IGR? Your messaiah couldn't grow ordinary IGR and this is all you have to defend him. Shame! Shame!! Shame!!!

You create jobs , enhance a quality lifestyle amongst the citizens and help increase their disposal incomes before burdening them with taxes! It's criminal to widen the tax net in a country where the unemployment rate amongst the youth is well over 50%!! Stop wearing sufferhead as a badge of honor! End the servitude!

Greater taxation to feed the corrupt lifestyles of a very corrupt political elite is not a sign of administrative sophistication. Massive taxation is very unpopular in the east. In any event, you have to establish businesses successful enough across board to start wanton taxation. The State governments are basically the last resort in terms of providing the basics in the east. Federal Government does nothing! No roads, no power stations, no railways and all you want is tax tax and tax? Anambra people are not complaining that Peter Obi did not kill them with taxes. He managed the much that was raised effectively and that's what matters.

Btw, why is it that you agbadorian reptiles only talk about IGR and greater taxation when discussing Lagos? Is Ondo, Ekiti and Osun no more part of your agbadorian empire? How are those ones doing with their IGR? Anambra built a new Airport with the much she collected! How about Arigbesola proposed Akure Airport? Why are your states still totally dependent on Oil royalties?? With all your IGR! It's seem as if agbadorian examples begin and ends with Lagos.
