This thread is going to be a "long" one, so I expect you all to sit back, relax and enjoy the read. So I have taken my time to save and screen shot some posts by staunch Peter Obi supporters on social media during his tenure as governor and now that he is contesting for the number 1 position in the country.. Fellow country men, if you have similar receipts in your archives, post them on this thread. Let's show the world how hypocritical some people can be in this country.. They suddenly discovered that the worst of Peter Obi they were making fused about is the best of Thièfnubu that agbadorians are hailing him . So tell me now, if you're in their shoes, who will you campaign for? 7 Likes 2 Shares

Anigreat: Stop pretending you are not worried that Nigerian youths have dug into the past and have since realised how much of a mediocre Peter Obi is. Nigerian youths are now holding on to the candid verdict of Igbos about Peter Obi when it was an intra-tribal affair. Any support now for Peter Obi by Igbos is just a clannish decision. 17 Likes 1 Share |

TechW:This one no follow abeg. Obi has never ruled a place bigger than Anambra which is not even as big as a local government in Niger state. Even at this, he still failed woefully..So what point are you making exactly? The question hasn't changed. What has changed? Is it that you lots hate the country so much you wish it is destroyed by a disaster like Obi? 22 Likes 1 Share |

OnionBandit:If Tinubu/Buhari, OBJ and Atiku did not destroy Nigeria , why do you think Obi would? Your hate for igbos, right? brother lemme tell you, You could have been an igbo as you never wished to be born wherever you were given birth at else, you wouldn't have chosen to be born a Nigeria in the first place. |

There's also old opinions about Tinubu from people like FFK, can you also ask what changed, Peter Obi is still miles ahead of other candidates, this is a known fact 1 Like |

Nothing changed! If you go to my posts here when he was governor, you will see similar criticisms of Obi. Every politician is criticized. But that's not enough reason to equate the criticisms directed at executive robbers like Atiku and Tinupoo with criticiss directed at Obi. These are two different scenarios. What we have noticed is that we raise the bar way too high for characters like Obi. Most of the criticisms were centered around a call for a more revolutionary approach to infastructural developments. Obviously there is a far a governor can go.. He was just a governor not the president. He was working with limited funds. As a president he's going to bring in most qualities that hallmarked his terms as a governor. So expect more tightening of the budgetary expenses. More prudent management of resources and more humane approach to governance. Most importantly, expect a total war against corruption! These are not common qualities in Abuja today. |

sanpipita:You can't compare the words of average Nigerians to that of politicians. The opinion of those people you saw there were unbiased and apolitical. Words of politicians against politicians is nothing more than politics.. I'd hold those people words against Peter Obi more than Reno Omokri's. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I've actually never seen a Yoruba (non politician) that was once a critic of Tinubu as the Governor that's supporting him now. It is obvious Peter Obi's supporters support him purely base on tribalism. 5 Likes 1 Share |
