Lol mehn this feeling is just unexplainable I'm already to feeling like a developer with 600 years of experience. I just downloaded vs code( for God knows why) out of impatience and curiosity and wrote my first JAVASCRIPT code but the problem now is how to run the stuff but I'll figure it out soonest mehn this shit just dey shack me like ogogoro, I just can't wait to begin the journey proper.
At least now, instead of doing night plan to stay from 12-5 watching tiktok and it's nonsenses, Na to dey on YouTube steady dey watch one or two

U don't need to run anything if u are using vanilla.

Just write ur J's codes inside script a tag, u can also add d HTMl tag if u like, save as index. html or .Anything.html

Go to d folder u saved and click open with ur favorite browser.

That's all.

right-click on code-runner,click on extensions settings and enable "run on terminal".after that you should have a play button on top.with that button,running your code will be more easier.

You can also google "how to setup code-runner on vs code"

Some of us thrive on reading that unformatted code. U get to hone your skill on actually reading the code. Half of.my current role requires me to read configuration files in nano. You go find pretty format tire when working with Telephony software like Asterisk or Freeswitch

You write function, you neva call the function, you dey find response ..

First, in place of "return answer", do "console.log(answer)"
Then call your function below. Like: Sumnumbers( 2,3)
Install Live server extension( ALT-O ALT-L to open afterwards..cross-check tho)/ install node js to run (node and then file name to run afterwards) / nodemon (similar to node)

Next time, use "sumNumbers" not "Sumnumbers"

. I had wanted to point out to him that he has to call the function before he the code will “work” then I realized that he’s not learning JS but trying to test out his code editor.
