Anikulapo is a yoruba epic movie produced and directed by veteran Nigerian Actor kunle Afolayan. This movie is about a traveling cloth weaver that sojoured in oyo and fell in love with the youngest and most loved wife. After a while they were caught, Arolake the wife of the king escaped while saro was banished and death proclaimed on him but as fate could have it he was rescued by Arolake. They both went and live as strangers in a village, to the long story short saro had a mystical gourd that he used to rise the dead which gave him the name ANIKULAPO but afterwards he came proud and betrayed arolake and married wives because she couldn't give birth to children for him because she is barred, because she felt betrayed she left saro and made the gourd power less which led to the fall of Saro for he couldn't rise the king first son from the dead. This movie is unique because of its storyline and scenery.
