No. The one they use is tilapia. It's scally but darker than this one.

Nothing like Yoruba people fish. It is based on your pocket, some use Tilapia, some use croacker, some even use titus stock fish etc. So it depends on your preference and pocket. That being said croacker and tilapia are common.
