Wike revealed this on Wednesday night, while hosting PDP candidates and local government party chairmen from Cross River State at his residence in Port Harcourt, where he donated 25 buses to support their campaigns.

Governor Wike said no one can convince him to drop his advocacy for internal democracy in the party.

Wike rejected the current formation of the party where the National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu; Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar; and Director General of the Presidential Campaign, Aminu Tambuwal; are all from the northern part of the country

Wike should continue tormenting the ungrateful party. Atiku the greedy Cameroonian knew it was the turn of the south yet greed didn't allow him to step down. Thankfully Nigerians have already decided that Obi should lead us come 2023.

What is difficult here? Wike has not said he must be made the chairman. Neither has he said he must nominate the chairman. All he wants is for the chairman to be of southern extraction. Simple. Ayu prefers being the chairman to Atiku winning the presidency. Atiku has to decide swimming to Aso Rock in a highly competitive race while backing Ayu or swimming alone to the finishing line and getting back to pick Ayu.
If he is a good swimmer he could pull Ayu along and still taking the lead.

I think it has to do wit pride and ego on the part of Atiku and ayu nw. If nt they all nw knw dat the continued staying of ayu as chairman is doing more harm than good as it stands. Bt all of una knw wetin dey go b4 the fall grin
