Omo makinde and Daru dapo are doing nothing tbh.

Funny enough both guys lack public administrative skills, they used their oil and gas money to buy power

Wike started from the buttom as obiakpor LGA chairman and walked his way up

El Rufai was in BPE, FCT minister before getting to be Governor

Even Sanwo-Olu started as an adviser

Lagos is the commercial capital of the Yorubas not the whole of Nigeria...

nobody forced non-Yorubas to build their headquarters in Lagos, they only want access to the Yoruba market ( Yoruba purchasing power ) since a lot of Yorubas are consumers...

at least 70% of the companies with headquarters in Lagos are Yoruba owned..

But how Gombe , Zamfara and Sokoto take generate so much IGR it should be a case study for others waiting for federal allowee

There you get wrong. Lagos was built by federal government as federal capital territory the way Abuja is being built by federal government, when the FCT was moved from Lagos to Abuja Lagos was redesignated to commercial head quarters. Yoruba on their own can not develop any modern city. what is helping Yoruba is proximity to Lagos.

Please don't say what you don't know... Employees of companies working in other states remit their taxes in the respective states they operate. Each state have tax officers that go round these organisations to check compliance regularly.
I think what is working for Lagos is the enabling environment being provided to investors hence the reason for attracting more investors to the state than other states.

From the report,5 southwestern states (excluding Lagos) generated #207,122,816,817 with Ogun state topping while the 5 states in the southeast generated #115,535,949,019 with Ebonyi topping within the same period. Therefore Ogun state is not doing bad among the southern states.

There you go again...There is difference between Lagos and Lagos state...Lagos as FCT is just 2 LGA of Lagos island and Lagos Mainland...You won't see federal government offices outside these 2 local governments...You will understand better if you live in Lagos... Even in the whole of Ikeja, the only federal project there is the airport which was only upgraded by the federal government...Note that the airport has been in Ikeja before 1900.

Apart from Lagos, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and one or two more, the rest of the other governors are just getting fat on federal government allocation.

This I have seen.

Anambra is doing very well given the neglect it has received over the years from FG. No port, no active international airport, yet its ranking very high up there. Kudos to the igbo race from anambra

Continue conjuring stats from the thin air with your Ogun state aka biggest gdp on earth.

What's the yardstick used? That's because I am surprised to see Akwa Ibom at #24 and Abia State ranking better than Borno State!

Why is Imo State GDP higher than those of Anambra, Ogun and Delta States? These states have more industries and economic activities than Imo State.
Akww Ibom at #24 in which category??
