7 Foods to Keep Your Bones Strong and young
Nothing more makes you maintain a youthful status than having strong and agile bones. Strong bones are the ground frame for a healthy physical posture. Maintaining a healthy bone is often the question most people ask. Is bone-strengthening natural? Are there supplements or foods to make bone strong?

These questions and some others will be addressed in this post, what matters most is that you need to understand that bone conditions form a high percentage in determining the health status of a person.

If your bones are weak, it is an opening for dangerous rheumatic infections to cripple the body. Also, weak bones will make you look older than your age. They expose undue stress to the bone and consequently affect the body’s muscles and tissues.

You must maintain a strong bone that can support your daily physical activities. A weak bone can give the necessary strength to perform strenuous work. Therefore, it poses you to be a weakling.

In this post, I will share with you 7 different food items you can consume in other to maintain a healthy and strong bone. I will advise you to follow this list with good attention. Each of these foods is highly rich in Calcium, vitamins, potassium, phosphorous, and magnesium –these are the nutrients you need for a strong bone.

#1. Egg
In the introductory stage of egg, nutritionists often say that “one egg per day keeps the doctor away.” An egg is a food item that is rich in many nutrients ranging from protein to vitamins. The vitamin D in egg empower the bones and allows them to absorb the calcium in a rich proportion for healthy growth.

The yoke in a medium-size egg provides about 5% of the vitamin D that your body needs daily.

Milk or plant-based dairy
Nutritionists confirm that dairy foods are one of the best sources of calcium and vitamins. A cup of milk has 300 milligrams or 30% of your daily calcium, 15% of your vitamin D, and 10% of your daily potassium requirement to keep your bones strong.

When you are in the store to get your next fill of milk, I will advise you to buy the ones with high-quality calcium and natural qualities. Also, try to include milk and cereal in your breakfast meal plan. It is a natural way to strengthen the bone.

Yogurt
I believe you are not among the adult that often says “yogurt is a kid delicacy.” If you belong in this group, I suggest you start to eat yogurt just like your 10 years old kid. Yogurt contains the same nutrients as milk, it is rich in calcium and vitamins. It is a secret ingredient to maintaining a strong and youthful bone.

Nutritionists often recommend a prescribed quantity for adults that are suffering from weak bone formations. Yogurt also provides magnesium and phosphorus for the bones in your body.

Fortified orange juice
American Journal of Clinical Nutrition discovered that fortified orange juice is rich in vitamin D and calcium. It is believed to be a simple supplement (juice) that provides 10% of the vitamins and 25% of the calcium that the body’s bones require daily.

You must get your fortified orange juice from the best brand that maintains the natural quality of natural orange.

Beans
Beans are rich in protein, calcium, and magnesium just like other food items I have listed. Different kinds of beans such as black beans, edamame, pinto beans, and kidney beans are good choices.

Plant foods like beans can provide the quantity of calcium and vitamins that you need daily. For instance, a cup of black beans, which offer 84 mg of calcium, is an excellent source of magnesium and phosphorus. They are also an excellent source of fiber and are a source of plant protein.

Cruciferous Veggies
Even vegans are not left out on this list. There are no more compelling reasons you have to eat it green. Cruciferous veggies are leafy green vegetables that contain nutrients that can offer the same quality of nutrients as other food items listed. Cruciferous veggies include spinach, turnip greens, kale, cabbage, and broccoli.

According to research, cruciferous veggies are rich in calcium and vitamins, especially vitamin K. The combination of these nutrients will help to strengthen your bones.

Mushroom
A mushroom is the best definition of a “natural gift”. Mushrooms are low in calories which means they cannot add much to your body weight regardless of how often you consume them. Mushroom is highly rich in nutritional content like calcium, minerals, and vitamins.

There are lots of health benefits that are associated with mushrooms, yet bone strengthening is inclusive. Calcium and vitamins in mushrooms are active and they contribute their quota to the maintenance of strong bones in your body

I am sure you do not want me to exhaust the list. Of course, other food items can make your bones agile but, the listed food items are the top pick in every nutritionist’s or dietarians’ prescription.

Please do read and digest the content in the post, share it with your loved ones, and engage the comment box, let me your opinion and how this blog post helped you.
