There are popular insinuations that Kwankwaso would withdraw from the race to support either Atiku or Tinubu. But that would not happen.

Kwankwaso is building his base not for 2023 elections but instead for 2027. He understands that both Tinubu and Atiku won't be able to contest again if they lose this election, so Kwankwaso would have only Obi to contend with. He is only going into this election to show his strength and consolidate his base in the North.

If you notice, you will see he is busy going about the country and opening NNDP offices. He is only preparing the grounds for 2027 and withdrawing now would destroy all he has laboured for so far.

Kwankwaso also knows that should Atiku win in 2023, chances of him succeeding Atiku in 2027 or even 2031 is almost impossible since Atiku would want to do two terms and South would never accept that. So, Kwankwaso's best option is contest in 2023, come 2nd, 3rd or at worst 4th. By 2027, he would have Obi as the only popular candidate to contest against. Even if Obi defeats him, then 2031 becomes his. He still has age on his side and a win for Obi in 2023 makes his presidential ambition easily achievable.

Even though your assumptions were very wrong, you were making a little bit of sense until you got to this part:

''So, Kwankwaso's best option is contest in 2023, come 2nd, 3rd or at worst 4th. By 2027, he would have Obi as the only popular candidate to contest against. Even if Obi defeats him, then 2031 becomes his. He still has age on his side and a win for Obi in 2023 makes his presidential ambition easily achievable.''

Very funny write-up. I cant even comment my opinion anymore. You turned the whole thing to joke already.
