The famous Ifudu sisters.

Dora Ifudu - The Way We Are (1978)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DU15qLjpKBU

The NTA's Vera Ifudu interviews Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo and Waziri Ibrahim after a meeting of the progressives in Enugu.

The progressives were trying to form an alliance to challenge President Shehu Shagari in the 1979 election (it didn't work). Aminu Kano was not at the meeting.

Dr Azikiwe came in a W116 S Class Mercedes Benz, Chief Awolowo came in a W100 Mercedes Benz Grand Grosser limousine and Waziri Ibrahim came in a Peugeot 504.

Vera Ifudu is wearing a red top.

Still remember one of the very few if not the only R&B from Sunny Okosun, in the 80's, cant remember the actual title but remember few lines of the track.
' YOU ARE MY LOVE
AND I 'M YOUR MOTHER
NOTHING BAD GOES BETWEEN
THE MOTHER AND CHILD"
chorus - "yoy are my love"

(forgive my mistakes, just guide)

Felix Liberty - "Lover Boy"-
'Am a loverboy loverboy boy
Am a boyfriend

Felix Liberty, was not bad at all, he was famous too.
He was more glamorous in his videos with losts of chicks, he was a ladiesman , and I think he lasted longer than Chris Okotie and Jide Obi in the music industry. Though Chris Okotie and Jide Obi made better music.

Hmn. I think it is the rap group called EMPHASIS.

The group released the song ' Which one you dey?' around 1990/1991. The group was made up of Terry, Mouth MC and Junior. I have attached their image to this post. Cheers.

Nope, the group that sang it was 'The Pretty Busy Boys' the members were Daddy Fresh, Daddy Showkey, Cashman Davies and Sexy Pretty

This isn't the video that I wanted to post. I would have preferred to post her very first hit ( "Back To The Basics" ), but that's not on YouTube.

This song is also nice and (if I remember correctly) it's also one of Ishilove's favourites.

He was heavily criticised when he said (in an interview) that he had never heard Tracey Chapman's version when he did his version. He said that he had never heard of her.

This is his pop and hip hop version of her song (can anybody remind me of the name of the guy that rapped on the track? ).

The first video has good quality audio while the second video contains the original video from 1990 (the audio is horrible).

They had just finished building the second part of the 3rd Mainland Bridge (Ebute Metta to Oworonshoki) when the video was made. You can see them dancing on the bridge at night (before it was opened to the public).

Steady boys by the new waves

Was going to post this song if no one had by the time I had gone through the thread. I remember my dad played the hell out of this album on any long road journey. It's burned into my spirit.

Later found out that they were from my hometown so they were massively popular there.

It's dready boys.
