HOW TO TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OF A YOUTUBE CHANNEL FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER. - By Emmanuel Ebare, October 2022. NB: THIS IS HOW TO TRANFER OWNERSHIP OF A YOUTUBE CHANNEL TO A NEW OWNER AND ASLO HOW YOU ADD OR REMOVE "OWNERS" AND "MANAGERS" IN A YOUTUBE CHANNEL. (1) Go to YouTube and log in. (2) After logging in, go to your channel. (3) Go to SETTINGS - to do that: Click on your logo at the top right corner, you'll see a drop down list, look for SETTINGS and click on it. (4) When settings open, you'll see a list, click on the item "ADD OR REMOVE MANAGERS." (5) When it opens, click on the option "MANAGE PERMISSIONS" (it's inside a big blue label). NB: the system will prompt you to re-enter your password to be sure it's you. (6) When that opens, that's where you'll see all the people that are involved in the channel (ie, Primary owner, Owners, and Managers)...and you will also see other items there, including even deleting the account as a whole, etc. You can then remove or add anybody to the channel either as PRIMARY OWNER, OWNER or MANAGER (NB: PRIMARY OWNER can only be 1 person - that is the main owner which is you the channel creator/owner, but OWNERS and MANAGERS can be any number). > > To add anybody, you simply type in the person's email address in the space given for it, and then choose the role for the person and Google will send the person a message for them to accept the invite. > > If you're transferring ownership of the channel, you invite the new owner to be PRIMARY OWNER (by typing in his/her email address in once he or she accepts, the person becomes the defacto owner of the channel while all others involved in the channel can only be "OWNERS" or "MANAGERS" NB: Please note that you must be the primary owner of the Channel in order to do all these procedures, otherwise you can't.
