Focus: Lord! Make us Glad in Our Days

WORD FOR TODAY
The Lord in his attribute can make a man experience joy that is capable of making him forget the sorrow, failure, disappointment and oppression of the past. The fact that some awful situation in life is inevitable doesn't change the fact that you have the right to be glad in the land of the living!!!

The Lord is not ignorant of what you've been through in the journey of destiny. His plan concerning your life is of peace and that you should have an expected end. No matter how bad or rough your journey has been in destiny, God can still make it up to you and bring all your good dreams to reality.

In the calendar of God, there are various times and seasons. It is not in His plan that all your days will be filled with sorrow. He is ready to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. (Isa 61:3).

With man, it may appear impossible but with God all things are possible. You need to keep trusting and praying to God to make up for every blessing you have missed and the afflictions you have suffered.

+ Do you still believe that God can bring your good dreams to pass?

Lord! Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us and the years in which we have seen evil in Jesus' name. Amen!!!
