The Inspector General of Police in Nigeria yesterday announced that all the civil security structures established by state governments be disbanded in the 36 states of the country. He further directed that they should submit their weapons to the Commissioners of Police in their states. Going by this instant order, there's nothing like the Ebubeagu again in Ebonyi State. Going by the order, anybody who sees anyone or group in Ebonyi State who calls themselves Ebubeagu should handle them like criminals. Henceforth, Ebubeagu is gone! successmatters:Many State authorities have abused their demand for State police or whatever brand name, through misapplications of security services and laws to achieve inordinate ambitions. IGP's instructions for disbandment is one and obeying the order in Ebonyi is another thing.
