The Police Command in Lagos State has commenced investigation into Sunday’s attack on the campaign train of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mr Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor. Its spokesperson, Mr Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this via his verified Twitter handle on Monday. “It is imperative to clarify that the party notified the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Badagry of the time and locations of their visits and adequate security was provided. “However, the campaign train made an unscheduled visit to a totally different and undisclosed location on their way back without commensurate notification to the Police. https://www.thequesttimes.com/police-say-jandors-convoy-was-attacked-because-they-veered-to-an-undisclosed-location/ 1 Share

What a shameful defence by the Police. So why then did they notify the police about their rally? The police know that this is campaign season and it is their absolute responsibility to protect lives and properties. So those ones who do not veer off their routes and yet get attacked, how can the police defend such? How can we not therefore assume that there is a collusion? No be only undisclosed location. So they want to tell us that no police officer or other security agent/agency went with the convoy? Na better lie be that one. Abeg Police give us better stories next time. 1 Like |
