The fast rising Nigerian director Orire Nwani has just emerged ‘Best Director’ at the just concluded new york try state film festival for his ‘Naked Woman’ short film. He just won big at the New york. He was congratulated for winning the coveted prize,festival director,Eduardo Rivera shared in a statement,congrats for the award and for being awesome in everything you do and iam so sure many feel same .”

The short film which talks about the dilemma of unwanted pregnancy and single parenthood,which is premiered at the Smithsonian National Museum for African Art DC and is set to screen at the 11th edition of the African Art DC and will be shown at the 11th edition of the African International film festival [Afriff]. The movie ’Naked Woman’ is in line with the story of a single mother Ufuoma, who has passed through series of difficulties and is somehow battered and scared about her own daughter making the same mistake or even something worst than that .The movie stars Ejovwoke Obas Roberta Orioma who doubles as co-writer and is currently streaming on You Tube with over 40k views since it was premiered in July.
