JaskanFactor:
Witnessing the birth of new economy with far more government control.
Where central bank replaces all other banks, and government has direct oversight of all bank accounts.

If its similar to what is being setup in china, you will no longer be able to accumulate wealth, any money in your account will have expiry date.

And your card will only allow you purchase of items the government deems you can have,.

They will bring it in gradually like they brought the terrorists and flooding gradually.

It has already started.
If you know how much the government monitors your account and can literally ruin anyone financially. You will be shocked.

This is why they work to make sure that they either control the crypto space through their infiltrators or completely destroy it and this is why the Bible makes so much sense with the 666 thing. Anyone powerful enough can just witch-hunt you and take off the financial grid totally.

I can't say much on this, but from the experience had in the registration of NIN and PVC, the stress this government is about to put Nigerians into will be x10 compared to the aforementioned experiences.

Nigerians have suffered enough.

Very useless government... All they do is create hardship for Nigeria...who ever will vote APC will encounter leprous bankruptcy

Good initiative...It's a way of strengthening the naira because as it stands now, master card, visa card and verve cards are foreign owned and the banks pay for their services and products with foreign currencies....Our regular master and visa cards will be phased out gradually for local transactions.
I pray it's successful.

*Edited
Verve is a Nigerian company and not foreign-owned. Please, correct this.

Lmao... Even before opening the thread, you already know 98% of comments will be secrets. Even those that do have the slightest idea where the concept is about will criticize. They want Nigeria to change for good, but they'll criticize every single step taken in to realize that. It's like they just want to wake up and see the country has changed to Dubai. cheesy

It's a nice idea, we complain of over dependent on foreign products yet when good ideas that will help Nigerians comes we condemn. Enaira was a great idea going cashless, it died before it's birth. Nigerians let's start from somewhere

The hopeless animals have failed with their useless e-naira. But they are not about to give up on their meaningless white elephant projects just to keep stealing money. May God punish everyone of these buffoons. Animals in crazeman skin.

Another pointless drive from another clueless accountant puppet

This is why I and accountants always fight. It is not always about plus and minus

There serious macro economic variables that need to be addressed. Somebody's daddy is talking about domestic card. Wetin that one wan do.

The ones you have already, you say they are the ones causing Naira to fall. What magic will this one perform. As if that is the solution.

Chai! Soludo.......Sanusi......where are your likes?

Your idea of starting from somewhere is starting from P to count your ABCD. If you don't want to depend on foreign goods, finance restrictions should not be the first thing when there are no enabling policy, talkless of infrastructure. Yet, the lack thereof is a result of government corruption and you still want them to control people's money!
