Flood: Isoko North PDP donates relief materials to victims

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Isoko North on Wednesday, donate relief materials to victims and communities affected by flood

Items presented were 50bags of rice, 40bags of beans, 4,500 tubers of yam, 277 cartons of indomie.

Others were, 2500bags of sachets water, 15 pampers, 20bags of salt, 50bags of garri, 30,000 cartons of frozen chicken and 20cans of palm oil

In his remark, the Chairman, PDP, Isoko North, Prince Godwin Ogorugba stated, “the food items are not for members of the party in Isoko North, but for the victims of the communities ravaged by flood in the local government area”

He revealed, “the money used in buying the food items didn’t came from the government but from some leaders of the party and political appointees from Isoko North.

“For us as leaders of the party, what touches our brothers and sisters equally touches us as we deeply touched by the plights of our people“

He noted, “the leadership has also made available funds for conveying the relief items to the people in the affected communities and the IDP camp in Ozoro.

“Yes, the recognized communities affected in Isoko North are Okpe-Isoko, Ofagbe, Ellu, Aradhe, Ovrode, Oyede, Ulli- Iyede,"

Present at the ceremony were the PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Isoko Federal Constituency , Pst Jonathan Ukodhiko, Chairman, Isoko North Council, Hon Christian Iteire, pioneer Speaker, DTHA, Hon Emmanuel Okoro, SSA on Political Matters to the State Governor, Hon Mike Ogwah, Executive Assistants to the State Governor, Dr Evelyn Aluta, Pastor Godspower Agbuduta, Jonathan Umukoro, Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Youth Mentoring and Monitoring, House of assembly candidate, Isoko North Constituency, Barr Bernard Odior

Others were the Chairman, Governing Board, DBS, Asaba, Mr Felix Ofou, Political Adviser to the Speaker, DTHA, Chief Emmanuel Edevor, Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Legislative Matters, Hon Richard Isagba , councilors, supervisors, amongst others.
