Edo North PDP Suspends Dan Orbih, Others by Kwanza: 4:29pm On Oct 07, 2021
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman, South-South, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, has been suspended from the party.

The former chairman of PDP in Edo State was suspended over alleged anti-party activities by the Edo North Senatorial Leadership of the party after a vote of ‘no confidence’ was passed on him.

Other suspended executives include the State PDP Vice Chairman, Edo North, Segun Saiki and 5 Local Government Area (LGA) party chairmen.

As at the time of filling this report, details of why Orbih and others were suspended was still sketchy.

Dan Orbih has been a PDP member long enough when the party was in opposition, it will be degrading for him to now start engaging in anti-party activities when the party is in power. Hope this is not a ploy by Obaseki to hijack the party structure from real founding members

Obaseki simply is executing his plot to take over Edo State PDP and become the sole administrator and godfather of the party. This was exactly what he was attempting in APC but got kicked out but unfortunately the PDP and some naive voters fell for the antigodfatherism narrative it was packaged in. Edo State PDP chapter has not seen anything. By the time Obaseki is through with them the party may be out of existence in the state.

How can ordinary senatorial unit suspend a zonal exco.This is dead of arrival. It is only the ward or the national that can suspend an officer of the party

It seems you know the guy so well. A very vibrant personality. This must be Obaseki's handiwork. He is playing out the same script he used on Oshiomhole.

I think oshiomole is at fault here,in 2016 he should have used his deputy not this chimp we ended up with.....

I said it before. If Obaseki can have problem with Oshiomole up to that level, PDP in Edo will forever regret giving him their platform. Mark my woods.

This is definitely the handy work of Obaseki, Anyway i do not blame Obaseki at all because the PDP elders decided to sell their conscience for a pot of potage which the incumbent governor paid handsomely for.
I hope this serves as a lesson to greedy politicians who care only about their stomachs and how to pay school fees of their wards in schools in the west.
