It's not about Abuja. The evacuation is of non-essential embassy staff and their families all over Nigeria.

It may even interest you to know that while Abuja is still on danger level 3, which is reconsider travel, many parts of the south (almost the entire south east ad south south) are on level 4, which is do not travel at all. So this is being taken out of context.

I am a bit concern the U.S has gone from raising alarm to evacuation that means the situation is pretty bad.
