Ask the folks at the airport how many Emirates and Etihad flights leave Nigeria fully booked on daily basis! Infact, at a time during the pre pandemic era, The Emirates operate more than three fully booked huge planes out if Lagos and Abuja to China on daily basis! They do this while pulling every trick known to man in other to stop Nigerian airlines from flying into their airspace.

Most Nigerians don't know how much money these airlines make from this. Do you know that at the moment it costs almost 2 million naira to fly to China from Lagos!? Do the maths! The local airlines like Air Peace got aggressive to get some share of this huge revenue and the Emiratis got mad! All of a sudden, the Air Peace owner started getting all sorts of indictments from all sorts of serious places and starryeyed Nigerians refused to decode the geopolitical plottings associated with the whole prejudiced investigations! This is what happens when you have a Nigerian president that doesn't know his left from his right! Everyone is fixated on Oil but Nigeria has a huge population of travellers and can make millions of dollars daily from this if a Nigerian airline is strong enough to compete.
