Papa one cash out for police head grin

Papa was just smart; if he had said N20,000 the erring policeman would have denied the act altogether ... at N50,000, he had no choice than to declare the correct amount grin

But why did the man lie about the amount of money the policeman collected from him?
But why did the police man collect money from the elderly man?

That man was smart. Police would have denied entirely if that man had mentioned 20k.

Na psychology the baba use!

You are very wrong. If the police officer was smart, he would have denied collecting 50k from the man, because by doing that he would be telling the truth.

Nigerians with honor, morals and ethics are less than 1000 I swear. Even the old man lied against thr corrupt officer.
Unfortunately most Nigerians giving the opportunity will be corrupt and unethical.

The words of the old man will be held more honorable than the cop because , one was caught red handed stealing from the state.

Inflating the amount is not my problem but why would they extort him at the first place? Later they will come n tell us the police is not corrupt

Well... the Papa should know he is still owing police (armed robbers) 30k balance. There is a popular chinese proverb that stated that if a thief stole your 30k and you inflated it to 100k just know you are still owing the thief 70k. By crook or hook the police will get to collect the 30k remaining. Sorry Papa i am only stating law of nature not like I am supporting police.

I always use three words to describe 99% of people we have in this country - opportunists, hypocrites and fraudsters. Almost everyone falls into one category.

For papa to be able to take this matter to you might also means that that his son didn't do anything wrong and it was a wrong detention. Because if papa's son was in the wrong, I'm sure he wouldn't make a fuse about the money for bail. Should this be true that means the policeman did more than one crime. And in as much I wouldn't condone papa's lie, but do you know if he had borrowed the money for his son bail after him pleading for his release to no avail. What's the money was borrowed with interest. More need to be done to our security forces

VOTE OBI-DATTI FOR A BETTER NIGERIA where bail will definitely be free

Welcome to Nigeria where everyone is a criminal.

In this story the extorted is more of a criminal than the extortee, If the situation was reversed he would have extorted 50,000 from the police officer.
Oh, shut it undecided
That's reverse psychology and the dimwitted police officer fell for it. Was a cash transaction hence no proof except this approach
Doubtful story, though tongue

I know you are expecting us to spit on papa's head and call him a liar, but 50,000 or 20,000... your man took bribe. I'm not excusing papa's lie but some other person could have insisted he paid 50k if he paid cash- it's the bribe taker's words against his undecided

The elderly Old man wants to earn interest of 30,000 naira on his capital. I see nothing bad in that; after-all the Money was taken illegally

I believe Lagos is the only functioning state in Nigeria, police refund bail in Delta? As in how? Abi na Edo state? The senior officer you went to report the extorting junior to will him to come give him his share of the loot, kudos to this Lagos state PPRO, he’s doing a good job.
