That was in the first few months of release. All sorted out now after monthly updates. That's the beauty of using flagship phones... If there are issues, they fix with OS updates

Not really, bud.
You see, I wouldn't use an iPhone for serious gaming. Except for the iPhone 14 Pros, sustained performance on iPhones aren't all that impressive. However, games are optimized pretty damn well. That's more than I can say for Pixels.
Dig this, homie: A15 Bionic even at 60% of it's power blows Google Tensor into the stratosphere in raw performance.
Should we talk about the inefficient GPU in the
same Tensor? (Tensor 2 is a lot better but it still doesn't come close to even A13 Bionic).

What's the best to go for, I have been someone who has never move out of android sphere but thinking of trying out iPhone

Got it for 490k. Phone is superb, I love it. Only minor problem I have is with the selfie, it's not so great in low-light areas. But in environments with light, you're good to go.

Both iPhone and Google Pixel are much capable of giving you a good experience. For iPhone, I will suggest either 12 or 13 because at that price range, I'm not sure you can get any Pro Max version of either iPhone 13 or 12 so I will be considering only the pro version and lower. For Google, I will suggest either the Pixel 6 or 7 series.


Boss in that case is the iPhone 12 Pro better than the iPhone 13?
