The NYSC Osun State Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Abdulwahab, has apprised that a total of 2870 Corps Members of the 2021 Batch C Stream II service year, had earlier today, Thursday 3rd November 2022 successfully completed their one year mandatory service to the nation.

The Passing Out Ceremony which was low key held in the Local Government Secretariats across the State.

The State Coordinator hailed the Corps Members for successfully scaling through the four cardinal programmes of the Scheme and for being good ambassadors of the Scheme at their various places of primary assignment during the service year.

She commended the doggedness and tenacity of the Corps Members thanking them for impacting the lives of the people of the State positively. According to her, news report of their conduct from the various quarters and Corps Employers in the State are pointers to the fact that the Scheme truly is living up its name and objectives.

Speaking on abscond ment and extension, Abdulwahab made it known that a total of 20 Corps Members absconded while 27 had their service year extended for various infractions.

Mrs. Abdulwahab urged the outgone Corps Members to continue to be worthy ambassadors of the Scheme, their families and the nation Nigeria, and to keep carrying the torch of unity and selfless service wherever they go.
