Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi says he has never claimed to be a poor man following his presidential bid. Recall All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima had accused Obi of glamorising poverty. PO was already a billionaire as at year 2000 only problem is he is more comfortable around poor people. There was an old video of Isyaku Rabiu of Kano trying to let people know PO is a billionaire more than him from his personal business dealings with him but unlike most Nigerian wealthy, PO was clearly embarrassed by the introduction because he is more used to dealing with poor people. He used his personal money to build APGA, campaigned and defeated an incumbent without shishi from anybody |
