Climate change is affecting our skin in a number of ways. The most obvious way is through increased exposure to UV radiation, which can lead to more premature aging and an increased risk for skin cancer. But that’s not the only way climate change is affecting our skin.

Rising temperatures and increased humidity can lead to more frequent and severe outbreaks of conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. And as extreme weather events become more common, we’re also seeing an increase in the incidence of fungal infections like athlete’s foot and jock itch.

So what can you do to protect your skin from the effects of climate change? First, make sure you’re using broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day, even if you don’t plan on spending time outdoors.
