Following the accusations and counter-accusations between the Kogi State government and Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, the People Democratic Party senatorial candidate for Kogi Central, some Kogites, particularly women from the region, have stated that they are not surprised by the allegation against governor Yahaya Bello, citing Natasha's history of blackmailing, one of which was against Reno Omokori.

The women from the platform Kogi Central Women of Substance spoke out in Okene on Friday after their annual meeting.

According to the statement, one thing they've noticed is that the former governorship candidate is used to making accusations but disappears when pressed for evidence.

Natasha's case with Reno Omokori, which occurred last year, was cited in the statement signed by the chairlady, Hadiza Ozovohe.

They said the light-skinned mother of three had accused the former presidential aide of trying to win her heart during a state banquet honoring Kenya's President, Uhuru Kenyatta, when Jonathan was still in office.

She went on to say that Omokri was living a boring and bitter life in the United States because he was in asylum and had no access to his numerous iPhone 2 girlfriends, the majority of whom he got into Sure P, a social measure instituted by the Goodluck Jonathan administration to mitigate the impact of the removal of fuel subsidies.

Omokri denied this, claiming that she made up stories. He insisted that he was out of the country on the specified date and therefore could not have made passes at her. They both began to exchange words as they tried to back up their claims in a back-and-forth argument.

Omokori won the argument after he provided verifiable evidences that he was out of the country during the time Akpoti claimed he approached her. She then retracted and deleted all of her posts, leading people to believe she was lying about Omokori.
