Over the last four decades, Nigerians have continued to experience the most brutal form of governance that can be experienced by any developing and or underdeveloped nation in the world. Consistently over the last forty years, there's been a rise in poverty, number of out of school children, inflation, debt, unemployment, mother-child mortality, insecurity, lack of infrastructural development, poor health care services and a host of others. Most recently, the issues have even become far worse as Nigerians have become helpless at the hands of a brutal government and the consequences of having an irresponsible government. Having witnessed how terrible the Buhari led administration has performed which has led to a call for secession by various socio-cultural groups in the wake of the terrible state of the nation, one would begin to realize that Nigerians are tired and want a breath of fresh air. These agitations across various ends is driven by the need to experience a better, sustainable, more accountable and a progressive type of governance. As the 2023 presidential election draws closer one thing is certain and that is, our collective decision will make or mar us as a nation. To experience the kind of change we've consistently yearned for but particularly, in the last twelve years, we must put aside all forms of biased thoughts and support candidates that have an excellent track record of people first policies and intentional about the progress of the ordinary man.
