Michelin,Dunlop and PAn did not fold up because of multiple taxation and import duty.they folded up because of the difference in the cost of imported related products {which is constantly going on} compared to made in Nigeria.these related products are not from sweet Africa but from the EU,China,Germany and Russia
Refinery is even worse because the refineries under the control of the nnpc was going to fail because of its inbuilt corruption

So why is a Peugeot,Benz in Europe is successful that it's counterpart in Nigeria.and here pipu are patronizing imported Toyota from abroad o
In a nutshell nigeria environment is not friendly for businesses to strives:from high taxes, multiple taxes,no infrastructures like roads, rail,no electricity, high cost of diesel, gas, scarcity of foreign exchange, high cost of production compare to other countries, corrupt government officials, inconsistent government policies, bottlenecks to export goods from nigeria, lack of long term credit facilities,no homegrown equipment manufacturers made many businesses to close shops.

When they go we lose jobs and create jobs for the country they go to. What will happen to the people who sell food around those factories? What will happen to local suppliers and their dependants? What about those who would like to do I.T at these companies? Did you hear 5000 people lost their jobs? What will happen to rent for landlord, food for children or even school fees for the children and the teachers salaries? When we want to talk put your leg in their shoes. Everything is not politics!

They dont understand how creating jobs work, they have rent mentality and think everything is politics.

If these guys go, the effect will be catastrophic for nigeria.
1. Mass sack of workers
2. All those farmers in the north planting millet, sorghum and maize which they see to nb, guniess and int brew, nestle will lose major income
3. The 434 billion in taxes and vat will disappear
4. They will delist from stock exchange which will affect the value of stock exchange.
5. No more dividends for investors. Imagine losing 45b, 28b, 24b from nb, guiness and nestle
6. These are the biggest coys in ogun state since closure of p&g. Now add it to the prob facing unilever, pz, gskb. Who all are now shutting prod in preference for importation

❌❌Buhari and the NNPC GMD have
succeeded in destroying NNPC, the
major source of Nigeria's income
and foreign exchange earner, so they
are taxing everyone taxable to make up
for their gross incompetence ❗️❗️☹️☹️☹️

Buhari the destroyer ❗️❗️☠️☠️☠️

Same way others left and unemployment rate widened

2. If you make profit from our population pay your taxes or getat.
They are only contesting an upward review that is just money for the boys as the previous paid, knowing fully well that they will still pay more to arrange for the safety of their lives & properties, record loses from truck falling off as a result of back roads, cost of running generator, etc.

3. Most of y'all cannot do without our darling nation,
Of course the population is there. That is why they will produce offshore and still ship down thereby making the country a container economy the more.

4. You can't eat your cake and have it!
Tell your govt that, if business owners pay less for personal security, power, access to other raw materials locally, any business assist even in policies, etc. Maybe the tax increment won't be an issue.

At the end, it's the man on the street that suffers it. Not the politicians that have looted in excess. Just work to the closest small businesses around you to ask their challenges.

My brother this is inflow from domiciliary account or dollar account. I have asked bank to exchange to Naira they said no. They cannot its dollar account and against their policy , any time they are able to source for dollar they let us know.

After several years i finish school no work now i started earning outside for the past 10 years now this problem.

Is it crime to be a nigerian?

Are they not selling oil, why are they not giving banks money to clear those who brought dollars in to the country legitimately or didn't the money remit into my account legitimately?
Why must we suffer.

There are thousands of Nigerians facing this challenge.. Those working on YouTube, content creators, programmers, those that write for foreign firms. Data analyst.. Just name them.
I can feel your anger now.. e no make sense at all oo... I tot dey will convert the equivalent to naira for you..
