Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, has suggested that the social media site might go out of business. Bloomberg News writes that two weeks after purchasing it for $44 billion, a deal that has put Twitter’s finances in a difficult situation, the world’s richest man indicated on his first mass call with staff that he could not rule out bankruptcy.

Musk cautioned that Twitter would not be able to “survive the upcoming economic crisis” if it does not increase subscription pricing to make up for declining advertising income in his first communication to all Twitter employees.

The letter was sent out following Yoel Roth’s resignation on Thursday as the director of Twitter’s effort to combat hate speech, disinformation, and spam. Lea Kissner, Twitter’s chief information security officer, announced her resignation via a tweet.

Damien Kieran, the company’s chief privacy officer, and Marianne Fogarty, its chief compliance officer, both left the organization, according to a message sent internally on Twitter’s Slack messaging platform on Thursday by a lawyer on the privacy team.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission declared that it was monitoring Twitter with “great concern” after the mass resignations and the departure of the three privacy and compliance officers.

Twitter may break rules as a result of the resignations.

According to the FTC’s director of public affairs, Douglas Farrar, “We are closely monitoring recent developments at Twitter with serious worry.”

Elons ego will ruin him!

I once beloved in dude and invested in his businesses, but ever since dude has been talking more than doing, everything just crashing right before him.

Tesla shares dropping like before and has no hope of rebounding cos mad competitors have come to center stage.

Dude was busy talking instead of working.

And I am certain he will replicate same failure at Twitter!

Hommie talks to much! He should learn from people like Bezos, Bill Gates, Aliko Dangote and the likes!
