ANCHOR SCRIPTURE : 1 TIM 6:11-12

1 tim 4:8 Godliness is the one thing that must be for us to secure a place in eternity.
There are forces at work behind the scene that are all out to derail us from the path of Godliness.

1. The spirit of pride:
It is an unclean spirit that destroys destiny. Prov 16:18
It is a silent destroyer that looks harmless, but it has destroyed the destiny of many.
2 thes 2:3-4
It makes people to keep exalting themselves until he destroys them.
Isa 14:12-16
The subject of pride is an issue of the heart.
Rev 12:9
Anybody can be caught up by the spirit of pride if they're not sensitive.
