A MAN quizzed over his sham wedding could only tell cops his new bride "was big, black and liked cigs and chicken burgers".
Mojeed Bello, 31, was rumbled when a vicar spotted a lack of romance as the Nigerian wed Dutch-born Carina Merselina, 25.

Rev Robert Simpson then went to their "home" address and found it was student digs, a court heard.

Cops swooped on the newlyweds at the registrar's office as they went to pick up their marriage licence.

Illegal immigrant Bello insisted the relationship was genuine - but when quizzed he could tell hardly anything about his bride. Prosecutor Martin Steen told the court: "He appeared to know little about her except that she was 'big, black and liked smoking and chicken burgers'."
