To oust a ruling party at the polls, opposition parties need to come together. All these fragmentation is hurting you guys. I listen to Adewole, the SDP presidential candidate, dude knows he stands no chance, but insists on going on the jamboree.
This is the curse of the south, no unity. When the north wants power, they band together, look at how Buhari was installed in 2015 - even the northerners in PDP worked for him, even the inec chairman worked for him, you go to the north, you won't see any mushroom opposition party trying to make a statement, everyone aligned.
But down south, y'all are fooling yourselves.
Tinubu and Obi are cancelling each other out, while the north are harnessing all their votes. Last minute, Kwakwanso will direct all his supporters to vote Atiku, just like what Tambuwal did. And with a simple majority, he will win, and boom, you have another northerner for 8 years. And the cycle repeats itself.
Southners dey funny no be small... North go rule tire... The fight everywhere is Tinubu and Obi... Both southners

You're banking on Tinubu to win yoruba states because his people will vote for him, and Obi to win southeast because his people will also vote for him, but not Atiku to win hausa/Fulani states? Oh! So when it comes to Atiku's people voting for him, they will suddenly rate party above tribe abi? Northerners of all people! grin grin grin.
All these children that will hide and take their parents phone to browse. What do you know about traditional votes?
Jack500:

Sharap! Tinubu and obi are not canceling each other out, because their stronghold has always be different, as a matter of fact obi contesting is good for Tinubu because he is taking away the traditional vote of PDP in the south.

You made some points, but don't forget that ever since 1999, the East & SS have been PDP strongholds in the south. As of today, PDP has more Governors in the South than in the North. APC have more Governors & controls more states in the North, than in the South. So, Obi's candidature is more of a spoiler for PDP in the South, especially in the East & SS, that's why Gov. Soludo said PO is simply making Asiwaju Tinubu's victory easier.

Don't worry! You will get sense in February, 2 months to go. If you really believe Atiku will win the north overmighly, then you are just being born yesterday.

Buhari registered CPC in 2010, and the following year, CPC came overall second in the presidential elections. Where traditionally, PDP and ANPP had governors, senators, etc. Why? Because of Buhari's cult following in the north.
Obi is having same following right now in the southeast and southsouth. You guys should discard this "traditionally, xyz has always voted for abc theory". People are not robots, they vote according to what they want. Even the north with a large illiterate population, knew that CPC was the name in 2011, let alone the south. Obi will poll massively in these areas of southeast and southsouth and parts of the Christian north who identify with him as the only Christian front runner among the top contenders.
Tinubu will poll well in the southwest, while Atiku will sweep the core north

Am very pleased with the cycle, let it continue as far as a northern president will be doing well.
Anyway Atiku is coming!
