Former lawmaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Shehu Sani has alleged that One hundred and thirty three million people have been thrown into deeper poverty contrary to promises made earlier.

Senator Shehu via a twitter post on Friday, made claims against an unknown group which he said promised to lift one hundred million people out of poverty.

According to him, the promise of the unknown group have however, been left unfulfilled while doing the worse to the populace.

“They promised to lift One hundred million people out of poverty;now they have officially thrown One hundred and thirty three million people into deeper poverty.” The Senator tweeted.
