Super Eagles Squad To Face Madagascar Announced. Ehiosun, Taiwo Dropped

The 25-man squad:

Defenders: Chibuzor Okonkwo, Elderson Echiejile, Joseph Yobo, Yusuf Ayila, Efe Ambrose, Dele Adeleye, Danny Shittu
Midfielders: Joel Obi, John Mikel Obi, Fengor Ogude, Kalu Uche, Nosa Igiebor, Solomon Okoronkwo, Ahmed Musa
Forwards: Obinna Nsofor, Victor Anichebe, Ike Uche, Osaze Odemwingie, Emmanuel Emenike, Peter Utaka, Chinedu Obasi, Brown Ideye.

Super Eagles gaffer, Samson Siasia named a 25-man team at a press conference in Abuja yesterday. Notably missing from the squad for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar on September 3, was the duo of Ekigho Ehiosun and Taye Taiwo.

The tactician has been forced to leave out the AC Milan left-back, Taiwo after he sustained an ankle injury in his team's 2-1 win over Juventus on Sunday, while Ehiosun, who is on loan to Samsunspor from Warri Wolves, was dropped on the grounds that he is out of shape.

Taking their place on the team are Danny Shittu and Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi, who has just recovered from a long-term injury. Goalkeepers called to the team are, Vincent Enyeama, Dele Aiyenugba and Chigozie Agbim of Warri Wolves.

Elderson Echiejile, Joseph Yobo, Yusuf Ayila, Efe Ambrose, Dele Adeleye, John Mikel Obi, Joel Obi, Fengor Ogude, Kalu Uche and Nosa Igiebor also make the squad. Also called up are, Obinna Nsofor, Victor Anichebe, Ikechukwu Uche, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, Emmanuel Emenike, Solomon Okoronkwo, Peter Utaka, Brown Ideye and Ahmed Musa.

it is not the fact that they are amodu like but how they will be made to play that matters,same maurinho made inter champions and benitez messed them up

Say what you will about Danny Shittu, d guy always puts his all on d line when it comes to representing d super eagles.

Siasia has lost his mind with adding Danny Shittu. I understand that Shittu has an unshaken work ethics when it comes to Nigerian football, however, I just think that he doesn't have the kind of talent that we need. He definitely needs to be a linebacker on an NFL team or rugby. He is the odd one on that list

But prevent siasia 4m inviting at least 5 plyers 4m under 20.dos guy ar even beta dan som super eagle players.since WC qualifyng match against Tunisia in Abuja, i dnt av confidence in dem anymore.
