The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will be played from 20 November to 18 December in Qatar. It will be the 22nd edition of the competition, and the first played in the Arab world.

The group phase will be played from 20 November to 2 December. The knockout phase will run from 3-18 December.

Whereas FIFA World Cup squads were previously comprised of 23 players, each country will take 26 to Qatar 2022. Teams must submit their squads to FIFA by 14 November. Some have already released theirs:

Substitutions

Coaches will be able to make five substitutions during normal time. If a match goes to extra time, they will be permitted one additional substitution.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is an association football tournament, contested by the men's national teams of FIFA's member associations and the 22nd FIFA World Cup. It will take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan.[a]

The tournament will be the last with 32 participating teams, as the field will increase to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament. Matches at the event will be played in eight venues across five cities.

 France are the defending champions, having defeated Croatia 4–2 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final. Because of Qatar's intense summer heat and humidity, this World Cup will be held during November and December, being the first tournament not held in May, June, or July and to take place in the northern winter.

 It will be played in a reduced timeframe of 29 days The opening match will be between Qatar & Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium, Al Khor. The final will be held on 18 December 2022, Qatar's National Day.

It was actually 7-1 I heard the German coach told his players to take things easy with Brazil being on their soil and the World Cup host after the first half ended in 5-0 against Brazil.

However, Andre Schurrle had gone to the toilet and did not get the information. That was why Germany had 2 more goals by Schurrle in the second half
