Hon. Agnes Ojeba has on Thursday, November 17, 2022; expressed confidence in the winning prospect of the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming 2023 election. Addressing women and youths from Kogi East, at the Adamu Atta support group office for Atiku in Lokoja, she said; "I want us to work together. We have the capacity. We want Atiku. This is the time to work together, for Atiku to win." "It is with Atiku winning that PDP can win Kogi in the forthcoming Governorship election. Women are the ones getting the work done," she further said. "Adamu Atta came to Kogi and saw there is no PDP presence in Kogi State and he decided to put a structure together across the 21 Local Governments of the State for PDP to win Kogi in the general election," she emphasized. "We must work together to ensure Atiku wins," she concluded. Present at the meeting were women leaders and youths from the Kogi East senatorial zone. Also present were excos of the Adamu Atta support group for Atiku, including the PDP State Deputy Chairman, Hon. Sam Abenemi, who is the Director-General of the support group. While giving his charge, Hon. Sam Abenemi, DG Adamu Atta Support Group for Atiku, asked the women and youths to go and canvass for votes. He expressed faith in the BVAS technology, saying "the BVAS will make it almost impossible for the APC to be able to rig elections anymore." He also assured that his office as Deputy State Party Chairman of the PDP in Kogi State, is open at every time and to every one member and supporter of the party, for suggestions and ideas on how PDP will emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections. The Youth Leader of the support group, Engr. Stephen Onoji, while speaking expressed delight in the efforts of the support group, in canvassing for votes for the party in the State. He urged the party faithfuls not to be intimidated as he expressed confidence that PDP will defeat APC in the 2023 elections. The Director of Administration, Abraham Okolo while making the closing remarks, assured the women and youths of the support group's readiness to work with everyone in the party to deliver Atiku and the PDP in the 2023 general elections.
