Love your ideal analysis, but you have not factored in the tribalism, regionalism angle. Atiku will be campaigning on these ground likewise Tinubu. Atiku will tell his region that they have not ruled before, that it is their turn, Tinubu will tell SW " awa lokun" , while telling the south that power will come to South. Chill a lot of metrics will come into play. NC and northern Christians will feel aggrieved for Tinubu not choosing them as VP, it will come into play as well.

the northerners are master politicians and they have won this 2023 game already. apart from kwankwanso which other northern politicians are contesting against Atiku in the north? none
But in the south, the northerners have succeeded in splitting the southern bloc, and the emergence of peter obi has completely destroyed tinubu chances, obi has made tremendous success in the southwest, tinubu can not get up to 20% in the southeast or south-south, those places are locked down for peter obi . and even in the southwest, many many Yorubas will vote for obi and that is tinubu home base ooo.
atiku only needs to get some fair share in the south, his job is to make sure the north is firmly in his hold and kwankwanso has done that for him by sending shekarau to join Atiku. that is why you see that Atiku is not bothered about wike and co.

All the governors that went to jail were jailed mainly bcoz of Ecological Funds which was under the control of Atiku as VP.

Most of the governors were supporting him then bcoz he was releasing Ecological Funds to them for projects they never executed.

He would release money to them and collect his own share and the money left wouldn't be enough to finish the project.

That's what sent some of them to prison. Now the big masquerade himself wants to be president. I don't know o but me I have serious reservation about him.

Hahaha the PDP is not ready to wrestle power from the APC, Atiku's greed will cause the PDP another impending defeat. The APC seem to be focused and United and they have moneybags willing to sponsor their campaign. Atiku is just surrounded by some few inconsequential politicians in person of Dino, saraki, obaseki and momodu. The only strong men in his camp are governor of akwa ibom and tambuwal.
