Job requirements;
Recent graduate of accounting or related fields
.You will be carrying out Banking transaction e.g. lodgments and withdrawal of cash / cheque
• Filling of accounting documents into the respective flies.
• Assist in preparation of receipts into the accounting software.
• Assist in raising invoices and receipts in-favor of customers.
• Preparation of purchase invoices.
• .• Management of the company’s accounts and financial transactions.
• Ensuring that all Accounting records are accurately and promptly updated in the ERP accounting software.
• Liaising with the banks and ensure that bank balances are promptly reconciled with the books.
• Responsible for proper control over balances receivable and payable ensuring proper reconciliations of the balances.
• Weekly review of postings into the systems.
• Preparation and management of payroll.
• Ensure proper budgetary control and monitoring.
• Keeping of Fixed Assets Register.
• Preparation of weekly report of income and expenditure and monthly Management Financial Statements and reports.
• Ensure proper fund flow management of the company.
• Preparation and filing of monthly and annual statutory returns and ensure compliance with state and federal statutes.
• Liaising with other departments with a view to ensuring smooth running of the company’s operations.


BASIC REQUIREMENT:
HND/B.Sc. in Accountancy or any related field.
• May be a student member of ICAN
• Competency in MS Office, databases and Accounting software
Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers.
• Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
• Data entry and word processing skills
• Prior relevant experience in similar job role/as an account officer is an added advantage.
