Its not a major discovery and not economically viable for majors. Thats why u can see indians and lebanese in the pictures as someone pointed out. Its almost like when majors such as Total, Shell etc vacate marginal oilfields for smaller players mostly domestic companies to operate. Xman12345goat: |

Arrewa: It is fantastic if the North has Oil in Commercial quantities It will keep Boko Haram and the Bandits out of the South and with good Management it will wipe out the Alimajirin Scourge by Providing for them Jobs Education And Vocational Skills The Financial burden and Pollution of the Niger Delta will be eradicated and the Niger Delta will be able to go back to Develop Agriculture and Commercial Fish Production The North will be financed by the North, and the South will be financed by the South and the Niger Delta will be paid the Damages for Pollution it has been asking the FG for and build more hospitals so the health of its People can improve It is a great Win for everyone |

It's your mind set. It's definitely twisted. Believe me, every southern Nigerian is happy with this news. At least, you people up North will soon start to experience our pains over decades of oil exploration. Tit for tat. Besides till we regionalize the country, the oil is still for all Nigerians. Even with 30 oil wells in the north the north will still be impoverished by the same north, because it is in your mentality to impoverish the majority while the minority is rich. tsdarkside: The arguments are just BS. I am from the Nigeri-Delta, oil has never earned Nigeria $50bn in one year, even when oil was at all time highs. That's chump change to what a tech giant like Apple or Google can earn in one year. Meanwhile 36 states are scrambling over that pittance and a huge chunk still gets stolen. Invest in human beings and stop scouring the earth looking for a fixed resource that the world is gradually moving away from. 1 Like |
