Super Eagles Coach Samson Siasia on Wednesday in Abuja released the names of 25 players for the 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Madagascar.

The Super Eagles had defeated the team 2-0 last year in the first leg of the qualifier in Nigeria and would be playing the return leg on Sept. 4 at the Antananarivo Stadium, Madagascar.

The players are Vincent Enyeama, Dele Aiyenugba and Chigozie Agbim on the goal keeper list.

In the defence are Chibuzo Okonkwo, Elderson Echiejile, Joseph Yobo Yussuf Ayila, Ambrose Efe, Adeleye Ayodele and Daniel Shittu, while the midfielders are Mikel Obi, Joel Obi, Fegor Ogude, Kalu Uche and Igiebor Nosa.

His striking force include Obinna Nsofor, Victor Anichebe, Ikechukwu Uche, Osaze Odemwingie, Emmanuel Emenike and Solomon Okoronkwo.

Others are Peter Utaka, Chinedu Obasi, Brown Ideye and Ahmed Musa.

According to Siasia, the team’s target is to win the crucial game against Madagascar which will determine the pressure they will put in the next game against Guinea later this year.

“Madagascar is a must win game for us; the most important thing is to make sure the players come on time.

“The players are to arrive in Nigeria next Monday before departure on Wednesday; any player that fails to arrive that day should consider himself as not being serious to play the game,’’ he said.

He said that the players, who would also be playing Argentina in a friendly match on Sept. 6, would depart to Dhaka, Bangladesh, the day after their game against Madagascar.

Siasia said qualifying for the Nation’s Cup would be a build up for their preparation for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

He also commiserated with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) on the death of their colleague, Ajibola Oni of Brilla FM 88.9, Abuja and prayed for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
