Gunmen Attack Police Checkpoint In Delta; Kill Sergeant On Duty, Cart Away Rifles (Graphic)

Yet to be identified gunmen have allegedly attacked a police checkpoint in Delta State, killing a sergeant on duty and carting away rifles belonging to the operatives.

Focus Naija can report that the incident occurred on Tuesday, 22nd November, 2022 at the checkpoint located at Ekaravwe junction along the Ughelli—Warri Road.

According to sketchy reports, some of the operatives took cover in the bush as the gunmen operated and unleashed terror on the team.

As at press time, three of the operatives were reported to have sustained injuries and about six rifles carted away during the attack.

I suppose we face our leaders (politicians) and not resolve to killing each other. The policeman is also someone facing the country already inflicted hardship and probably a family man.
