Apple is first company to cross $1 trillion dollar valuation & $2trillion market cap respectively and when you talk of Tech, Apple is richer than Elon Musk.

Thing however is, Apple just like Elon's space Ex & Tesla,etc is a public company & no longer one Man business. Hence only one person on board of Shareholders, Founder inclusive, won't own controlling shares or Walk home with all the profits at the end of the day. Massive Profit Earned is shared among several people according to percentage of controlling shares/percentage of ownership .

Apple's market capitalisation is over $2tn but this is with regards to shares. These shares are owned by people. I doubt if Apple can cough out $44bn in cash like Elon Musk did. Mr. Musk paid almost $30bn in cash. That is mental mate.
