PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE NEWLY APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS TO THE ECOWAS YOUTH AMBASSADOR:

A final year student of the department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Lagos State University in person of Dohou Sewanu Success who hails from Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State has recently been appointed as the Special Assistant/Director of Programs on Student Engagement (Lagos State University), to the office of the 156th Ecowas Youth Ambassador.

Success happens to be the first undergraduate of Lagos State University to be appointed as the Special Assistant/ Director of programs
The office which comes with the responsibility of serving as an intermediary between the Young people in Lagos State University and the Ecowas Youth Ambassador with the sole aim of enhancing development in youths is connected with the identified deligence, active participation and commitment towards the service to humanity in his little space.

Also, In June 2022, Success was appointed as the 34th President of the Junior Chamber International Nigeria, Lagos State University Chapter, where he presides over hundred of active citizens in the citadel of learning, providing development opportunities for young people.

Success has proven to be an example of a 360° student who is currently on a CGPA of 4.04. Amidst his numerous activities, participation in Youths engagement and advocacy for good governance, he is still able to maintain a balance between his school life and career. He is not just a youth but a leader who is worth emulating.

His favorite words has always been “Service to humanity is the best work of life" He also believes that as long as we are alive, "making impacts that point people to positivity and God as the giver of success should always remains our utmost priority because without God nothing can be achieved."
