If you want it in your church there's a way you'll go about it, don't be too authoritative.

It's the groom marrying the bride from her church to his. You marry from her church and thank giving service is mostly held in the groom's church.

Where are you from? It's mostly south east people that see something wrong wedding holding at the brides church, if you are from the south east is it an inter tribal marriage? If not there shouldn't be issues with this church matter, she should know already.

Over here the idea is the brides family are the one giving their daughter away so traditional and church is done at their place, you come marry the girl from her church or her parents church

That is mostly the norm in Nigeria. This is what one has to discuss during courtship if both parties attend different churches. Some wives will not even change after wedding so its always good to address it before.

The woman who marries you must be really desperate.

Some of you create problems long before marriage even begins. Convention and commonsense should tell you that you are going to bring a woman to your house.

Every ceremony that will culminate into her arriving at your place will definitely not hold at your place. You accord her the honour of hosting you and your entourage. Having a wedding at her church or family church is part of her hosting honour.

Exceptions could come into play where the groom pastors a local assembly. He could plead with the bride to let him have the honour of hosting the wedding at his own place of worship. But this must be sorted out diplomatically.
