After the trending 13% derivation fund topic caught up with Niger Delta States, Governor Udom Emmanuel's Government hurriedly responded by throwing reports all over the media of the swimming pool being built at the Uyo Sports stadium complex.
This ended up reminding Akwa Ibom people of a standard swimming pool and changing room built by Senator Bassey Albert without publicity since 2018, for Uyo Club near the Governor's Office.
People were now asking, why is a State Government panicking to publicize a swimming pool that they are currently fixing into a dilapidated sports complex?

Infrastructure is good, but Akwa Ibom needs to invest in its people. I cannot believe that Akwa Ibom State is among the 10 richest states in Nigeria, yet their people keep doing some of the most demeaning jobs in the country.

Udom Emmanuel's successor needs to invest more in education and financially empowering the people to learn skills and trade to improve the lots of the people.

Mr. Emmanuel has done well by building infrastructure and industries and those industries should be privatised like Ibom Air (either wholly run by individuals or PPP)

They misinformed us all; Ibom air is not privatized.
It is funded by the state government with leased aircrafts
There is a story with screenshots that show Ibom air to be a conduit for stealing billions.
