Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has terminated a road contract on the spot, after he paid a visit to the site, without the knowledge of the contractor.

Soludo who wasn't pleased with the pace of the work, ordered the contractor to vacate the site immediately.

However, he made the contractor to know that he has already told his commissioner for works to replace the him with another company

This is very satisfactory. They didn't meet October deadline. Was given another month to complete the road but nothing. That place looks like it will not be ready next year december.
