Nigeria has happened to the occupants. Either they were kidnapped, or the vehicle was borrowed for criminal activities and then abandoned. Whichever it is, Nigeria happened to the occupants. Nigeria happened to the individuals that are the victims, Nigeria happened to the individuals that are the perpetrators.

Yet, we want a government who feels he has no obligation to talk to us or to address the Nigeria press.

We will all be affected by the choices we make. If you choose not to vote, then don’t have a family member that will have to use Lagos-Ibadan expressway, then never have any condition that will require you getting emergency healthcare, then never have any family member in any federal school.

The insecurity in Lagos is only getting started. This terrible economy has driven a lot to crime; and yet you don’t mind a continuation of it.

Continue.

When the vehicle is duly registered the police can get the owner's names, phone number and even residential address.

Hope it’s not a case of kidnap gone wrong?

Kudos to them.

They shouldn’t frame innocent people, I don’t trust these guys a bit.

Kidnap gone wrong?

Looks more like a successful kidnap to me.

They held up the poor guy, took him out of his car into another and zoomed off, leaving his SUV with the engine running.

Most likely how it played out.

It's how they are looking for any information about the owner of a car whose number plate is clearly showing.

What kind of Balabluu is this?

Vehicle contains "travel documents and laptop" yet you're at loss as to the owner's identity?

Did FRSC not boast sometimes back also that VIN is now incorporated with vehicle owner's details?

Naija and Bulabba...

And they didn't even bother to investigate if the owner has been kidnapped, or even track the details of the registered papers, immediately they ran to social media.

It's obvious coming to social media is part of the investigation.

Naija Police, how can you still be asking for any information about the owner of a car that's obviously fully registered and with a number plate if you truly know your onions ? There are lots of leading clues already to unravel this mystery only if the officers (police() in charge are smart enough to see it !

As several writers here have mentioned, this pricey Mercedes SUV was most likely abandoned after the occupants had been kidnapped. No matter how valuable the car conveying rich people, the kidnappers ASSUME that the vehicle carries a tracker that might prove hard to find so that variable is eliminated by instantly transferring the kidnap victims to another vehicle brought for that purpose by the kidnappers.

Some years ago a good friend of mine was kidnapped while riding in a fancy new SUV, which was abandoned along with the driver at the scene of the ambush. That friend was starved outright for a week and beaten daily to within an inch of his life. He was released from the Forest of Demons after ransom was paid and he died a couple of years later. Only instant death is worse than falling into the hands of kidnappers in Nigeria today in 2022.

Re: RRS Recovers Suspicious Car In Lagos (Photo) by fmthegreatest(m): 2:47am On Dec 07, 2022
When the number plate is intact on the vehicle, then the identity of the owner of the vehicle can be accessed with his personal details from the Lagos M.V.A.A. From the details there when and where the owner began his journey can be traced while investigation goes on discreetly instead of the RRS calling on the public to give them info on the identity of the owner.
