I went to market to stockpile my room with food stuffs but it seems rice has become commodity for the rich.
Well, I couldn't buy it so I've decided to find a substitute for it.
Pls foodies in the house, what can I get as alternative that would look decent and cheap esp during the Christmas day.

You are welcome. Since you are alone, you would most likely not enjoy eating the rice alone if you cook it. Your best bet now is either to have friends over or go visiting on that day.

Anything person want. My favorite at the moment is oats. I bake something with it or i make my special oat porridge which I eat all day with stew and soup..
